Rainy Day **GIVEAWAY** (Sun’s out!)
In the lip synced words of Milli Vanilli, I blame it on the rain.
This week California is suppose to get it’s quarter of a century record breaking rain. From 5-20 inches! Grreeeeaattt… I’m hoping my area is more towards the 5 inches spectrum rather than the 20 inches. But CB we could really use the rain. Ok that’s true. But you gotta understand something. I’m Asian. We already have a terrible reputation for being bad drivers. (I will neither confirm or deny the rumor per my lawyer’s instructions.) Add in the rain and that’s 2 strikes against us!
You were probably coming to my blog to read about some fabulous Tuesdays With Dorie dessert-ness but it’s cold, dreary, rainy and wet in my neck of the woods. Instead I decided to embrace the rain. Thank goodness for shop-a-holic friends, Target and text messages. For the last hour I’ve been looking at buying some rain boots after my friend sent me a text about buying some pink polka dot rain boots from Target. So of course I got the want-them-don’t-really-need-them twitch. But not fugly yellow ones that fishermen wear. Cutesy ones. Ones that make me forget the cold, dreary, rainy wet (Did I mention those adjectives already?) outside.

Ok so as much as I love all the boots you picked out, I’m not in LOVE with any of them. Like the red and blue ones … so you, but way too crazy flowery which just does not say CB to me.
So … I started looking elsewhere. I started at zappos and was going to post the ones I found but really, blech I didn’t like any of them. Then I moved along to shoes.com and found the cutest freaking pair of rain boots ever … are you ready for this? You sure? Ehh I don’t think I’m going to show them to you yet. Maybe later :P

I would buy the pink/brown polka dots b/c I have this thing for pink and brown. But for you, I’d pick the red and blue flowers… those will match ginger spice the best… not that you’d wear rain boots in the kitchen… i’m just saying…

Choice #2 (for me) would be the blue flowered ones in the bottom left, but I somehow cannot see you wearing them. You seem more a red/hot pink sorta girl. So …

Okay, I’m torn between two pairs – I LOVE the blue/white ones with the brightly colored crosshatch, but I also totally Love the grey ones with the bird on them!!! They are happy boots!!!!

I LOVE rain boots and am desperate for a pair to sport around campus on rainy days! The citrus ones are really fun but my vote goes to the pink plaid ones! They are super cute!

that’s a toughie…I see you very clearly in either the one with the orange slices, but I’m leaning towards the blue hibiscus (wild guess at the flower) ones. I’d flip a coin…go oranges for heads, hibiscus for tails. :)

I’m in southern California too, and I could definitely use some rain boots! These are all so cute, but if I had to choose one pair it would be the pink plaid. Although the citrus ones would definitely brighten up your day!

I would so love one of these pairs of boots for my daughter who went to three Targets this week in search of rain boot. She is away at school and with this rain her poor shoes were completely soaked. Keeping my fingers crossed.
